Innellea has announced a temporary break from social media after admitting he feels creatively stuck.
In a recent Instagram post, the artist looked back on his early rave experiences.
The upload is now the only post visible on his profile.
Through the reflection, he explained how those formative moments helped shape the Innellea project.
He explained that those first events felt free of judgment and boundaries.
Because of that foundation, he has followed the same instinct since launching the project.
As a result, his sets and releases have moved across ambient, melodic techno, tech house, breakbeats, and occasional techno elements.

Expectation for Innellea from Online Community
However, he noted that expectations around his sound have grown over time.
He said he has seen more comments telling him what Innellea should sound like, and this pressure has contributed to feeling creatively stuck.
Although the DJ said he appreciates listener feedback, he also warned that constant commentary can influence how people view an artist.
He stressed that the project was never meant to represent only one style.
Instead, he described the project as a full-spectrum electronic music journey that includes long-format sets and live vocal moments.
Even so, he admitted he has started to question what he is truly allowed to do as an artist under current expectations.
Therefore, the DJ confirmed he will step back from online activity.
He explained that he needs distance from the noise of feeds and opinions so he can reconnect with himself and the music.
Meanwhile, he has removed all previous Instagram posts, leaving only the statement on his profile.
He did not reveal how long the hiatus will last.

Challenge to Be Authentic Self
Following the announcement, several artists shared support in the comments.
Chris Avantgarde suggested that polarized reactions often signal authenticity.
In addition, Massano encouraged him to keep creating what feels natural.
Other artists, including Adriatique, Hardwell, Colyn, and Hernán Cattáneo, also reacted publicly with supportive messages and emojis.
Notably, Innellea’s message arrived shortly after KSHMR discussed similar creative pressure in electronic music.
Earlier this month, KSHMR spoke about the challenge of evolving his sound while meeting audience expectations.
Although their situations are different, both artists highlighted how difficult it can be to stay authentic in a fast-changing music landscape.
