The large-scale Road to 165 Concert tour continues as part of the 165th anniversary celebration of HKBP Management.

Initiator Effendi Simbolon launched the concert series with a clear cultural mission.

He aims to preserve Batak music and heritage through large-scale stages.

To bring that vision to life, the shows feature national artists alongside leading Batak musicians.

To ensure the tour runs smoothly, Effendi Simbolon and Corry Simbolon appointed Posan Tobing as promoter through Anak Ni Raja Production.

The marathon tour spans more than 160 cities across Indonesia, making it one of the largest music events ever organized in the country.

So far, three cities have successfully hosted the concert: Surabaya, Semarang, and Bandung.

The Beginning Of Road To 165 Concert Series

In Surabaya, the show took place on Friday, February 13, 2025, at the Multi Purpose Hall Ciputra World Surabaya.

The lineup featured Marsada Band, Osen Hutasoit, Tongam Sirait, Maria Calista, Antonio, Alex Hutajulu, Angel Voice, Simbolon Band, and a special performance by Irma Purba.

Next, Semarang hosted the second concert on Sunday, February 15, 2025, at MAC Semarang.

The event presented a similar lineup with the addition of Bastian Steel.

Afterwards, Bandung became the third stop on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, further highlighting the cross-generational spirit of Batak culture.

Jakarta will serve as the peak of the series on Thursday, February 19, 2026, where a larger and more spectacular artist lineup will perform.

In an official statement, Effendi Simbolon stressed that the concert is more than entertainment.

He explained that the team wants Batak music to stay alive and reach audiences across generations.

He added that Road to 165 reflects a deeper commitment from the team.

In his view, the initiative aims to protect and preserve cultural heritage.

At the same time, it seeks to present their best works to the Indonesian public.

Meanwhile, Posan Tobing said the responsibility he carries is both an honor and a major task.

He noted that the team is working to deliver maximum-quality concerts so every city can feel the same energy and spirit.

He also emphasized that Batak music has the power to unite people, which is the main message they want to bring to the stage.

Effendi Simbolon also stated that the peak concert celebrating HKBP’s 165th anniversary will be held at Gelora Bung Karno in October 2026.
