<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Collectives and Collaborative Projects</strong></h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Beyond music releases, 2025 highlighted the growing influence of collectives and collaborative projects. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Many artists chose to work together rather than move alone.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Projects like <a href="https://www.instagram.com/saladklab/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">SaladKlab</a> grew from individual tracks into a full EP. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.instagram.com/secondaryofficialmusic/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">Secondary</a> moved forward as a duo, diving deeper into Trance and harder sounds.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Meanwhile, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/submerged69/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">Submerged</a> followed a different path, developing Afro, Melodic, Progressive, and Tech House styles under a more structured mentorship.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.instagram.com/its.alterego.ofc/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">Alter Ego</a> also gained attention by letting the music stand above personal identity.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>New Collectives on the Rise</strong></h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At the same time, new collectives emerged with clear musical direction. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.instagram.com/afronightmusik/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">AFRONIGHTMUSIK</a> blended Afro House with Brazilian influences, while <a href="https://www.instagram.com/chiliflakes_official/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">Chili Flakes</a> pushed high-energy Indo Bounce and Breakbeat.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Together, these movements showed how collaboration continued to drive creativity within the scene.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Grassroots Communities and DJ Movements</strong></h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On a grassroots level, local communities remained essential. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.instagram.com/technohousy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">Technohousy</a> focused on accessible House and Techno events, while <a href="https://www.instagram.com/feel.amp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">AMP</a> and Deck Society created spaces for underground scenes and beginner DJs.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.instagram.com/indonesianlocalheroes_/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">Indonesian Local Heroes</a> also stayed active, moving between venues while consistently highlighting local talent across genres.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Evolution of Jakarta’s Clubbing Landscape</strong></h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Jakarta’s clubbing map continued to expand in 2025. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">HW Group maintained a strong presence, while Pantai Indah Kapuk, especially PIK 2, grew rapidly with new nightlife venues.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Meanwhile, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sector.loc/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">.sector</a> in Bintaro became an important hub for underground communities.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Read more:</strong> <a href="https://ravecolony.com/news/rave-colony-2025-recap-jakarta-edm-scene-in-review-part-1/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">Rave Colony 2025 Recap: Jakarta EDM Scene in Review (Part 1)</a></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Rise of Soft Clubbing</strong></h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One of the most noticeable shifts came through Soft Clubbing. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Influenced by Gen Z lifestyle changes, events moved toward healthier environments.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Morning raves, coffee parties, and smoke-free dancefloors attracted new audiences. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">These events reduced alcohol focus and offered alternative ways to enjoy electronic music.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Face to Face (F2F) DJ Format</strong></h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Finally, the Face to Face (F2F) DJ format brought fresh energy. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By placing DJs opposite each other with separate setups, F2F sets encouraged interaction and spontaneity.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">From underground hard music events to high-profile pairings, this format gained strong momentum throughout the year.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Closing Reflection</strong></h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Overall, Rave Colony’s 2025 recap shows a scene driven by diversity, collaboration, and constant experimentation. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As Jakarta moves into 2026, the future remains open, ready for new genres, new movements, and new ways to experience electronic music.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A new collective has appeared on the radar: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/afronightmusik/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow" title="">AFRONIGHTMUSIK</a>, formed by electronic music duo Adrian and Bolex.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Although they are new as a collective, both members already have strong reputations in the industry. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Adrian, who is also part of the management team at Sound of Zeus (SOZ), has built his identity around Trance music. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He has received multiple nominations as <em>Trance DJ of the Year</em> at the Paranoia Awards. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Beyond DJing, Adrian also founded Trance Republiek, a movement dedicated to Trance culture. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Over the years, he has shared the stage with global icons like Armin van Buuren, Remy Unger, Myon &amp; Shane 54, Kyau &amp; Albert, and Paul Thomas. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">His track <em>Our State</em> even entered the Beatport Top 100, cementing his name among international Trance artists.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Meanwhile, Bolex has earned his place through performances at prestigious events such as The Convention and Sunday Anyway.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With his background in Deep House, House, Progressive, and Melodic House, he has also become part of the well-regarded collective Submerged. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">His ability to blend deep grooves with melodic energy has made him a respected name in the local clubbing scene.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In 2025, Adrian and Bolex officially came together to form new collective. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Their project focuses on Afrohouse and Brazilian Afro, blending elements of House, Electronic, and Afro rhythms. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Their performances at clubs like Cartel, Mr. Hans, and Kode have already received enthusiastic responses from audiences.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For fans of Afrohouse, the collective represents a fresh and vibrant addition to Indonesia’s nightlife. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Adrian and Bolex are ready to take listeners on a journey filled with rhythm, energy, and global influences.</p>
