According to DJ Mag, several high-profile techno artists have been pulled from major European festivals.

The decision came after sexual misconduct allegations began circulating widely online.

As the claims spread, organizers moved quickly to adjust their lineups.

The situation escalated quickly and triggered swift responses from event organizers.

Leading brands such as Verknipt, World Club Dome, and Airbeat One confirmed that Shlømo, CARV, Basswell, and Odymel will no longer appear at upcoming events.

Organizers pointed to serious allegations that spread rapidly across social media during the past week.

The claims first surfaced through posts by an Instagram user known as @bradnolimit, who said he previously worked as an agent at Steer Management.

In response, the agency suspended its professional relationships with Shlømo, Basswell, and CARV.

Soon after, several artists formerly represented by the agency—including DJ Physical, alt8, and Lola Cerise—announced their departures.

By the end of the week, Steer Management had removed its full roster from its website without further explanation.

The Response From The Techno Artists

Shlømo publicly rejected the accusations.

He characterized the situation as an ongoing defamation and harassment campaign allegedly driven by a former U.S. booking representative.

He also stated that he has never committed sexual abuse or engaged in any relationship with a minor.

Meanwhile, Belgian DJ Odymel addressed a separate incident on Instagram.

He explained that the incident was linked to sexsomnia, a rare sleep-related condition.

In doing so, he sought to provide context for what had happened.

At the same time, he expressed regret over the situation.

However, he also attempted to distance himself from what he described as intentionally harmful behavior carried out by others.

CARV acknowledged engaging in extramarital affairs and sending explicit messages and images to women he met online.

However, he denied any criminal conduct.

He has since canceled all scheduled performances and announced the end of the CARV project.

As of the report, Basswell had not released a public statement.

Reactions from Industry

The controversy has sparked broader reflection within the rapidly growing hard techno scene.

Among those speaking out, Belgian techno star Amelie Lens highlighted deeper structural concerns in the industry.

She emphasized a growing concern within the scene.

In her view, many women no longer feel fully safe, neither on the dancefloor nor backstage.

Because of that reality, she urged the community to take stronger action.

She called for real accountability to replace the culture of silence and reputation management that, she believes, has allowed problems to persist.

Fellow hard techno producer Sara Landry, who has previously collaborated with Shlømo, also responded publicly.

She made it clear that her team is already taking concrete action.

According to her, these steps are meant to uphold the core values of the community.

At the same time, she delivered a firm stance on the issue.

She unequivocally condemned all forms of abuse, assault, and predatory behavior.

Landry also clarified that she had no prior knowledge of the allegations.

She said the situation left her shocked and deeply concerned.

At the same time, she reaffirmed her commitment to her community.

She stressed that she wants every fan to feel safe in every space they share together.

The post Techno Artists Dropped After Misconduct Claims first appeared on Rave Colony.
