Jakarta’s clubbing map continued to expand in 2025.

HW Group maintained a strong presence, while Pantai Indah Kapuk, especially PIK 2, grew rapidly with new nightlife venues.

Meanwhile, .sector in Bintaro became an important hub for underground communities.

The Rise of Soft Clubbing

One of the most noticeable shifts came through Soft Clubbing.

Influenced by Gen Z lifestyle changes, events moved toward healthier environments.

Morning raves, coffee parties, and smoke-free dancefloors attracted new audiences.

These events reduced alcohol focus and offered alternative ways to enjoy electronic music.

Face to Face (F2F) DJ Format

Finally, the Face to Face (F2F) DJ format brought fresh energy.

By placing DJs opposite each other with separate setups, F2F sets encouraged interaction and spontaneity.

From underground hard music events to high-profile pairings, this format gained strong momentum throughout the year.

Welcome to the scene, Chili Flakes!

Yollana began her journey in the Indonesian EDM scene in 2015, building on a passion for music that started when she was very young.

She carried strong technical skills into competitions and earned 3rd place at Generation Noise 2015 and 2nd place at Dineros DJ Hunt 2016.

She later won Iceperience 2017, which sent her to Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

Over the years, she developed a wide musical range, from Tech House and Melodic Techno to Progressive House and Techno.

As her career grew, she began playing in local clubs.

Soon, she stepped onto international stages.

Her journey even led her to Djakarta Warehouse Project 2019.

And at one point, she opened for Dash Berlin at the MotoGP After Party.

Meanwhile, Berlin started her career as a singer and content creator before sharpening her DJ skills at Splendid Asia and Enigma DJ Academy.

She now delivers an impressive mix of genres, including RnB, House, Manyao, Progressive, Techno, Trance, and Hardstyle.

Listeners often note that she brings high-energy expression to every set.

She continued to gain recognition.

She ranked #20 on Djanemag Indonesia and placed #81 on Djanetop.

Her journey also took her to clubs and venues across Jakarta and several major cities nationwide.

Together, Yollana and Berlin developed an alter-ego project called Chili Flakes.

They shape a signature sound that blends Indo Bounce and Breakbeat with bold textures and the duo’s explosive energy.

With this project, they introduce fresh flavors to the Indonesian EDM scene, and Chili Flakes aims to keep serving the spicy beats.
