Alter Ego also gained attention by letting the music stand above personal identity.

AFRONIGHTMUSIK blended Afro House with Brazilian influences, while Chili Flakes pushed high-energy Indo Bounce and Breakbeat.

Jakarta’s clubbing map continued to expand in 2025.

HW Group maintained a strong presence, while Pantai Indah Kapuk, especially PIK 2, grew rapidly with new nightlife venues.

Meanwhile, .sector in Bintaro became an important hub for underground communities.

The Rise of Soft Clubbing

One of the most noticeable shifts came through Soft Clubbing.

Influenced by Gen Z lifestyle changes, events moved toward healthier environments.

Morning raves, coffee parties, and smoke-free dancefloors attracted new audiences.

These events reduced alcohol focus and offered alternative ways to enjoy electronic music.

Face to Face (F2F) DJ Format

Finally, the Face to Face (F2F) DJ format brought fresh energy.

By placing DJs opposite each other with separate setups, F2F sets encouraged interaction and spontaneity.

From underground hard music events to high-profile pairings, this format gained strong momentum throughout the year.

New event in town called Technohousy!

Jakarta’s EDM scene continues to thrive with genre-focused events, and Techno has been making a strong comeback.

From Hard Techno to Melodic Techno, fans have embraced the diversity and intensity of the genre.

Riding this wave, Technohousy emerged as a fresh new movement created by Dina Subono and Ramacanaa.

Longtime industry insiders will recognize Dina Subono as a seasoned DJ who has played across numerous clubs, showcasing her ability to navigate various styles of electronic music.

But Dina is more than just a DJ.

She also works as a film director, screenwriter, and producer, with projects that have competed at film festivals.

Technohousy represents Dina and Ramacanaa’s vision to blend two beloved genres: House and Techno.

The concept allows flexibility to explore the in-between sounds, including Tech House, Progressive House, Melodic Techno, and the groovier side of Techno House.

The debut event, titled “First Chapter,” took place on July 11, 2025, at BlackJack Club.

The lineup featured the founders themselves along with DJ Fadlie, Adrian, Maudy, Judy Ant, and MC Zhaky.

The party also brought together a lively crowd of Party Celebs, Star Celebs, and Party Stars.

They are Lutfi Selatan, Ageng Kiwi, Firry Rassad, Freddy P Rachman, Nhaz, Rani Kyu, and Dicka.

From the start of the night until 3 AM, the DJs delivered seamless transitions between genres (Tech House, House, Progressive, Melodic, and Techno).

Friends, fans, and music lovers filled BlackJack Club, celebrating this new addition to Jakarta’s nightlife.

Looking ahead, the team plans to host Technohousy every one to two months, changing both the venue and the guest DJs each time.

The hope is to see Technohousy grow alongside other event programs in the capital, building momentum with each chapter.
