The Bandung-based electronic duo Bottlesmoker, consisting of Angkuy and Nobie, started 2026 with a series of successful shows in India.
Fresh off the stage at the Bloom In Green Festival, the duo enjoyed a heartfelt connection with fans in Bangalore and Kolkata.
This successful run in India served as just the beginning of their year.
The pair is now busy refining their setup as they prepare to cross international borders once again.
The next chapter of their journey begins on March 1, 2026, in the Philippines.
The duo will host a residency at the secluded DRYFT Camp in El Nido.
Deep within this remote resort, they will find the perfect environment to blend their electronic sounds with the surrounding wilderness.

A Living Sound Laboratory for Bottlesmoker
The resort will act as more than just a venue; it will become a living laboratory for the duo’s latest experiments.
This setting provides the perfect stage for Bottlesmoker to highlight their pioneering work in bio-sonic sound.
Here, they will explore the hidden rhythms of the surrounding nature.
The residency unfolds over an intensive four-day and three-night schedule.
During this time, the duo will blur the lines between biology and art.
They will actually convert the electrical signals of living plants into melodic instruments, allowing the jungle itself to join the performance.
By using plant signals to create frequencies, they aim to guide participants through a journey of movement and deep listening.

An Immersive Wellness Program
The duo will lead eight distinct sessions across two separate program blocks, running from March 1–4 and March 6–9.
These sessions offer a variety of ways to connect with nature through sound.
For example, guests can participate in Sunset Sound Meditations or join Morning Yoga sessions accompanied by live plant soundscapes.
Furthermore, the program features educational workshops and a unique “Bio Gastro Synth” experience.
The residency concludes with a high-energy Jungle Sonic Party, blending electronic music with the natural sounds of the surrounding environment.
Through this project, Bottlesmoker continues to push the boundaries of how we interact with the living world through technology and art.
