Meet SONIK Collective.
The growth of the EDM industry, especially the Techno scene, continues to thrive thanks to the contribution of SONIK.
Formed in September 2024, SONIK not only joins the movement.
They also carries forward the legacy of those who came before, building on their success.
The group consists of five members from diverse backgrounds and generations, united by the same passion and vision.
They are Andra, Angga Djaya (also known as Angjay), Ananta, Jaka, and Rangga.
They have actively contributed to the music industry for years.
Andra, one of the founders of Batallion alongside Firboy and a former member of Duarc, is also active in Bali’s Desøner community.
His sound blends raw, hypnotic, and minimalistic rhythm grooves with atmospheric layers and modern touches.

Ananta, who began his journey as a Techno DJ in 2019, shapes his style with raw, sci-fi-inspired Techno.
He is drawing inspiration from figures like Richie Hawtin, Rene Wise, and Hitam.
Meanwhile, Angga Djaya, better known as Angjay, first fell in love with Techno after attending Awakenings in 2012.
His passion grew stronger in 2018, influenced by legends such as Cisco Ferreira, Chris Liebing, and Rodhad.
Jaka, a professional full-time photographer and part-time Techno DJ since 2018.
He brings a more “banging” style with groovy Techno foundations.
He is inspired by Richie Hawtin, Shlømo, and Dax J.
Finally, Rangga chose Techno as his medium of self-expression, always aiming to create something new in each of his sets.
Together, the five members built the collective under the tagline “Perspective of What We Call Techno.”
With this vision, SONIK continues to strengthen Indonesia’s Techno scene.
Pushing it forward with raw energy, creativity, and unity.
