Lane 8 is entering a milestone moment in his career.

To celebrate it, he has announced a special run of live shows.

The series marks the 10-year anniversary of This Never Happened.

Over the years, the label and event concept have grown into a core part of his artistic vision.

The celebration is set to unfold in 2026.

Across the year, Lane 8 will curate five special shows.

Each one will bring together artists from his wider musical universe.

The focus will be on intimate settings and immersive experiences, staying true to the spirit of the project.

Story of Lane 8 and the Founding of This Never Happened

Founded by Daniel Goldstein, This Never Happened has evolved far beyond a record label.

Over time, the project has evolved far beyond its original form.

It has become a creative movement rooted in emotional connection.

At its core is a mindful approach to club culture.

Everything centers on the idea of being present and fully living in the moment.

From the start, the project has encouraged fans to put their phones away and engage with the music without distractions.

About This Never Happened – 10 Year Anniversari Tour

The This Never Happened – 10 Year Anniversary shows will take place across the UK and the United States.

The tour kicks off in London on May 22.

From there, the journey moves to the United States for a run of Colorado shows.

Stops include Dillon Amphitheater on June 6 and Echo Mountain on June 7.

The run continues at Mission Ballroom in Denver on June 13, before closing at The Mishawaka in Bellvue on June 14.

Presale tickets open on January 20, with fans able to register in advance for early access.

For now, the full lineups remain under wraps.

Even so, Lane 8 has offered a clear hint of what fans can expect.

Each show will feature artists drawn from the extended This Never Happened family.

Over the years, that roster has included melodic and progressive names such as Le Youth, Sultan + Shepard, Massane, EMBRZ, OCULA, Jerro, and more.

The No-Phones Policy

Since its early days, This Never Happened has become widely recognized for its signature melodic house and progressive sound.

At the same time, its no-phones policy has set it apart, asking audiences to stay present instead of recording performances.

This philosophy has become a defining element of Lane 8’s live shows, creating a rare sense of intimacy between artists and crowds.

In announcing the tour, Goldstein reinforced the project’s core message by reminding fans to experience the moment rather than document it.

That idea has guided This Never Happened since its earliest events and continues to shape its identity today.

Over the past decade, the label has steadily expanded its reach.

It has released albums that earned strong critical praise.

Along the way, it has also curated stages at festivals across the world.

Most importantly, it has built a loyal global community connected by its emotional and atmospheric sound.

With these anniversary shows, Lane 8 not only honors the journey of This Never Happened, but also sets the direction for its next chapter.

The one where music, memory, and connection remain more important than screens and social media.

Additional details, including supporting artist lineups, are expected to be shared in the weeks ahead.
