Elijah Wood will step behind the decks this spring at a Lord of the Rings-themed rave in Denver.

The event celebrates the 25th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, the film that introduced him as Frodo Baggins.

For this special occasion, Wood will perform alongside Zach Cowie as their vinyl-only DJ duo, Wooden Wisdom.

Together, they will headline the celebration and bring their signature crate-digging approach to the dancefloor.

The sold-out party will take place on May 31 at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom.

Organizers encourage guests to wear costumes, adding to the immersive theme.

During the night, the duo plans to spin a mix of rare finds and well-loved tracks, with a strong focus on disco from the 1970s and 1980s.

This Denver stop forms part of a wider run of shows recently announced by Wooden Wisdom.

The duo, who have performed together for 15 years, revealed the new dates through their official Instagram page.

They will also appear on March 22 at The Vanguard in Orlando, followed by additional events in Kansas City, Dallas, and Los Angeles.

However, unlike the Denver show, most of these stops will not carry a Lord of the Rings theme.

Beyond DJing, Cowie has built a strong profile in film and television.

He has worked on projects such as Celeste & Jesse Forever, American Fiction, and Judas and the Black Messiah.

In addition, he hosted the radio show Play It As It Lathes on NTS Radio from 2016 to 2019.

Earlier in his DJ journey, Wood also clarified a common misconception.

During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, he explained that he does not perform under the name DJ Frodo, despite his iconic role.
