More than just lending her voice, Aruma played an active role in adapting the lyrics into Bahasa Indonesia.

Concept from Aruma
Aruma shared that she had previously focused on love songs about romantic relationships.
However, this time she embraced the opportunity to express love for parents by covering SB19’s song.
The singer eagerly collaborated with the team at Sony Music to ensure the Indonesian lyrics preserved the song’s original message.

She found the theme so touching that she agreed immediately when SB19’s label, Sony Music Philippines, invited her to join the project.
She admitted that chances to convey parental love through music don’t come often, which made this offer feel special.
Aruma explained how deeply honored she felt to be part of such an emotional piece.
She had long hoped to release a personal and heartfelt track—and this collaboration between two countries gave her that moment.

Production Process
Following the initial agreement, Aruma and the Sony Music Indonesia team worked diligently to localize the lyrics.
She wanted the song to flow naturally in Bahasa Indonesia, while still being emotionally resonant.
Aruma said the writing process took time, as she adjusted the words to ensure they sounded smooth and heartfelt.
With support from the label and production team, she completed the adaptation.
The track, produced by Pablo, Jay Durias, and Simon Servida, is now ready release.

Hopes for MAPA
For Aruma, MAPA serves as a gentle reminder to reconnect with parents.
