When Attila Syah Became ATSY
Attila Syah, widely recognized for his work as a Trance producer with releases on labels like Armada Music and Future Sound of Egypt, wanted to push his creativity in a different direction.
To explore new sounds, he introduced the alias ATSY.
Around the same time, he noticed Winky Wiryawan’s own side projects, such asFun On A Weekend, MORSH, and Rahasia Intelejen.
Their shared taste in music quickly became the foundation for a collaboration.
Once the idea took shape, they realized that an electronic pop track layered with guitar melodies needed a unique vocal identity.
They turned to Prince Husein, who accepted the invitation.
Together, they created “Hands On Mine,” a song that tells the story of a couple in love, struggling against external challenges.
Despite their efforts to hold on, the pair ultimately has to part ways.
This release reveals a side of Attila that fans rarely hear.
Through ATSY, he explores a sound far different from his established Trance style.
