Singapore-based singer-songwriter Dru Chen continues his introspective journey with the release of “Mirror Work 2,” the powerful sequel to his 2019 debut, Mirror Work.

This deeply personal album explores themes of identity, perfectionism, and the ongoing quest for self-worth.

Across eleven emotionally rich tracks, Dru blends the vocal intensity of Jeff Buckley, the expressive guitar stylings of Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton, the psychedelic soul of Prince, and the melodic storytelling of Fleetwood Mac and Jimi Hendrix.

Musically, Mirror Work 2 delivers a raw and immersive experience, fusing indie honesty with the groove of neo-soul and the emotion of rock ballads.

One of the standout tracks, “Not Bad Is Not Good Enough,” reflects the quiet agony of feeling invisible in a toxic relationship.

Dru pairs the track with a powerful music video that visualizes this inner turmoil.
