Random & Syanai have released their latest collaboration.
It is a stunning Liquid Drum and Bass remake of Syanai’s earlier City Pop single, If We’re Really Friends.
The original song told the story of a seemingly good friendship that turned out to be fake, wrapped in cheerful and upbeat City Pop melodies.
However, Random, a DJ and producer in the Drum and Bass scene, transformed the track into a Liquid Drum and Bass version with signature beats and melodies.
This creative shift gave the song a fresh emotional depth, making If We’re Really Friends resonate in a whole new way.
This project marks the third collaboration between Random and Syanai, showcasing the strong chemistry they share.

They first met when Syanai attended a music production class taught by Random.
Since Syanai was already familiar with Drum and Bass, their creative visions blended seamlessly.
Javabass Recordings, Indonesia’s leading Drum and Bass label, released the track.
Industry heavyweights such as Muztang, OSGD, and Jerome have expressed their support for this exciting new version.
Fans can now enjoy the remake on all major streaming platforms and digital stores.
