One word, REVOLUSI.
When civil unrest broke out across Indonesia on August 25, 2025, the country was filled with tension and uncertainty.
Amid that chaos, Jakarta-based DJ, producer, and event creator HOGI chose not to stay silent.
As a core member of FUTURE10, Indonesia’s longest-running electronic music collective, he decided to channel his emotions into the only language he knew best.

He launched “REVOLUSI”, a collaborative compilation that transforms public anger into a nationwide sonic protest.
The unrest began after rising economic frustration and a proposed housing subsidy increase for parliament members triggered mass demonstrations. In
the middle of this turmoil, the track emerged not just as a compilation, but as a unified artistic call to action from Indonesia’s underground electronic scene.
HOGI explained that the project came from a place of personal outrage toward the government’s handling of the situation.
He urged DJs across the country to play the track in their sets as a way to amplify the people’s voice and turn frustration into sound.
The project brings together some of Indonesia’s most innovative electronic producers, each contributing their unique take on the protest anthem.
Across three explosive volumes, artists reinterpret the track through different sonic textures.
From acid house and breakbeat to techno and funk-infused remixes.
