Young dreampop group Lucien Sunmoon has returned with a tender new single titled “Memoria.”
Written in Bahasa Indonesia, the song tells a personal story from vocalist Kanaya, who wanted to preserve her friendship through music.
Kanaya explained that the song was dedicated to her close friend, Wulan, who was surprised and excited when she found out the band had written a track for her.

At first, Wulan thought Kanaya was joking.
However, she was genuinely touched to learn the song was real.
Musically, “Memoria” draws inspiration from SPITZ and Beeswax.

The band shared that SPITZ’s song “Robinson” helped shape the mood and atmosphere of “Memoria.”
Meanwhile, guitarist Nael crafted the outro’s lead guitar with Beeswax in mind.
In writing the lyrics, Kanaya chose to use clear and concise language.

She was aiming to avoid misinterpretation and ensure listeners could easily relate.
To match the song’s emotional tone, the band also released a warm visual cover.

Originally taken by their manager on a vacation, the image unexpectedly fit the summer tones and themes of “Memoria.”

The band members — Yessy (guitar), Natanael (guitar), Nasywa (keyboard), Lyra (drums), Mundir (bass), and Kanaya (vocals) — believe that memories can be preserved in many forms.
From written notes to photo collages, saved chats, and even physical photo prints.
They hope that “Memoria” resonates with listeners and becomes a soundtrack for moments shared with friends, loved ones, and family.
The single “Memoria” is now available on all major digital streaming platforms.
