INI BUDI Drops Emotional Track “No Hope In Here”

Jakarta’s underground scene has introduced a fresh Gen Z talent to the spotlight: INI BUDI.

You can call him Budi for short.

As a DJ, he draws inspiration from legendary names like DJ Duby, Dowden, GMJ, Hernan Cattaneo, and Marcelo Vasami.

He also got inspired by other deep progressive house producers from South America and Europe.

Budi has developed a signature sound rooted in melodic and groove-rich progressive house.

Beyond DJing, he actively creates remixes and original tracks.

Recently, he released the Untold Story EP under the AH Digital label, showcasing his creative depth and production skills.

Soon after the EP release, Budi launched his newest track, No Hope In Here, under the Incridi8le Recording label.

He crafted the track in the deep progressive house genre to reflect his emotional experience after realizing he had no hope left in an unclear relationship.

To express this complex feeling, Budi composed the song using the Dorian scale, a blend of minor and major scales.

The method is capturing both the sadness of ending something and the relief of finally letting go.

As expected from his signature style, this progressive track delivers a strong groove, immersive melodies, and a steady drive.

From the opening to the drop, and throughout the entire journey, No Hope In Here offers a beautifully arranged experience with flawless sound design.
