Inside The Album
To begin with, Lightsplinter opens with “Doves.”
The track immediately sets a mysterious and intense mood.
Wide soundscapes, ritual-like percussion, and retro sci-fi textures slowly fill the space and pull listeners in.
From there, “Assemblage” builds momentum as shimmering arpeggios glide over a trap-influenced groove, anchored by a gritty and resonant low end.
Next, “Frenzy” pushes deeper into darker territory, using pentatonic melodies, sharp distortion, and rising tension to fully lock in the listener.
Finally, the EP resolves with the title track “Lightsplinter,” which delivers a sense of closure and return, tying the entire sonic journey together.

Future Plans Ahead for Floret Loret
Beyond the release itself, Floret Loret is set to take this new chapter on the road.
In addition, he will join Shlump on a 2026 tour, bringing the Lightsplinter experience directly to fans across the country.
This upcoming run marks an important milestone, further solidifying his presence as a rising force in the bass music scene.
When discussing the concept behind the EP, Floret Loret explained that the project centers on overcoming hardship and welcoming new beginnings.
He looked back on a year shaped by challenges and uncertainty.
From that experience, he wanted to capture the feeling of hope that can rise out of adversity.
At the same time, he aimed to hold on to a sense of optimism for what lies ahead.
The narrative, he noted, follows the creation of a sword made of light, forged to confront the lingering darkness within the imagined Lightsplinter Cave.
