Sara Landry rarely stays idle.
While her high-energy DJ sets often feel like endurance tests with blistering tempos, she now plans to step away from the road.
The hard techno icon recently reached out to her fans with an important announcement regarding her 2026 plans.
She will pause her life on the road to focus on a new creative chapter.
By stopping her tour temporarily, she can fully immerse herself in the writing and production of her next album.
She informed her followers on social media that she will remain off the road until March to write her next big project.
Building on a Massive Debut
This upcoming hiatus follows the success of her debut album, Spiritual Driveby, which arrived in October 2024.
That record helped push the hard techno sound into larger venues and mainstream spotlights without losing its raw intensity.
Interestingly, the album served as a spiritual mission statement for Landry.
She completed it after overcoming a 15-month bout of writer’s block, eventually incorporating collaborations with Nico Moreno and Shlømo.
She even included a unique prelude featuring her personal hypnotist.

A Historic Rise for Hard Techno
The release of her first album coincided with several career-defining moments for the HEKATE label boss.
Notably, she became the first hard techno artist to perform on Tomorrowland’s iconic Mainstage.
This achievement served as a symbolic milestone for a genre that typically exists in dark, underground spaces rather than global festival stages.
Where to Catch Sara Landry Next
Fans still have one final chance to see her perform before she begins her studio retreat.
Landry will play at EDC Thailand in Phuket, which runs from January 16-18, 2026.
She joins an impressive festival lineup that includes major acts like Zedd, deadmau5, GRiZ, and Levity.
Once she finishes this set, she will dedicate her time entirely to crafting the next chapter of her musical journey.
