Tuned Global has partnered with Leel Phone to support Leel Music, a music streaming service built specifically for children.
The collaboration brings licensed and curated music into Leel Phone’s child-focused smartphone ecosystem.
The partnership reflects a wider shift in how companies approach children’s technology.
Manufacturers are increasingly moving beyond safer devices.
They are creating complete digital ecosystems that combine communication, entertainment and education.
Music plays an important role in these ecosystems. However, platforms designed for children require more than a standard streaming service.
They need carefully selected content, age-appropriate experiences and territory-specific controls.
Tuned Global Provides the Technology Behind Leel Music
Leel Music will operate within Leel Phone’s closed ecosystem.
Parents remain in control while children can access entertainment through clearly defined safety settings.
The system also places music alongside other services such as communication, video and games.
Tuned Global will provide the technology supporting the service.
Its offering includes white-label music applications, a content management system, APIs, metadata services, explicit-content controls and rights-aware infrastructure.
The platform will also help Leel Phone manage catalogue operations, territory-based availability, metadata and editorial workflows.
These tools are designed to give the company greater control over how music is selected and presented.
Leel Phone will remain responsible for music licensing and editorial decisions.
Meanwhile, Tuned Global will provide the infrastructure needed to operate Leel Music across multiple territories.
The initial version of Leel Music is expected to focus on playlists.
Children will be able to explore curated collections while Leel Phone controls the content available to its audience.
A Safer Approach to Children’s Music Streaming
According to Tuned Global Founder and Managing Director Con Raso, the partnership reflects a shift in how children’s technology companies approach digital ecosystems.
These companies are moving beyond simply developing safer hardware.
He explained that providing music responsibly requires more than adding a streaming player.
Companies also need suitable licensing models, content management tools, metadata, editorial controls and rights-aware infrastructure.
Raso added that Tuned Global is supporting Leel Phone in creating a curated music experience where safety, technology and entertainment work together.
Leel Phone Chief Marketing Officer Natalie Antoshchuk also highlighted the importance of maintaining the same safety standards across every part of the platform.
She explained that the company selected Tuned Global because of its ability to handle the specific requirements of children’s music services.
These include catalogue management, content controls and scalable music infrastructure.
Antoshchuk also said the partnership gives Leel Phone flexibility to introduce Leel Music gradually.
It also provides a foundation that can support the service as the wider ecosystem develops.

Leel Music Targets Key European and US Markets
Leel Music is expected to launch in Q4 2026. Its initial priority markets include the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
The collaboration also follows Tuned Global’s continued expansion across EMEA.
Earlier this year, the company appointed Mario Forsyth as VP Head of Commercial EMEA to support businesses developing licensed music and audio experiences in the region.
Leel Phone Builds a Closed Digital Ecosystem for Children
Leel is a smartphone ecosystem designed for children aged 5–12. Developed by Trackimo.
It is available through dedicated Leel Phone hardware as well as a downloadable ecosystem for Android devices.
The system uses network-level controls through the Leel SIM.
This approach prevents users from bypassing restrictions by changing software or device settings.
The ecosystem includes Leel Chat, Leel Parent, Leel TV, Leel Music and Leel Games. It also offers products such as Leel Watch, Leel Loc8 and Leel Tab.
All services operate within a closed environment. The system does not provide internet browsing, social media access or access to third-party app stores.
