In 2005, Robin Rahardian and Ical Tadjoedin formed a music duo called Basement House.
Both are well-known names in Indonesia’s electronic music scene, with strong roots not only as DJs but also as experienced party organizers.
Ical, for instance, has played as a resident DJ at several clubs including Club Monaco, Baby Face, Dizzy Lounge, Urban Lounge, and Immigrant.

His talent was recognized when he won Best House DJ of the Year at the 2009 Ravelex Electronic Dance Music Awards (REDMA).
Meanwhile, Robin has been active in the DJ world and is a member of House Cartel, a house and techno music collective.
Their long-standing partnership and deep connection have helped Basement House remain a strong force over the years.

Basement House is known for combining different styles—acid, electronica techno, disco, and house—to create their unique sound.
Recently, Ical and Robin released a full-length project titled The Album.
It contains 10 tracks, including three new songs produced in 2024, as well as a few previously unreleased tracks.

Musically, The Album stays true to Basement House’s signature blend of disco, house, and acid sound.
However, they’ve added fresh elements that give certain tracks a new dimension.
Listeners will enjoy crisp hi-hats, a groovy bassline, and vibrant percussion that adds a carnival-like feel.
