What is your definition of “Cowok Red Flag”?
After kicking off 2025 with the single Love Ya featuring Syeqy, the duo DNA (consisting of Djaya and Mister Aloy) has taken another confident step.
This time, they’ve teamed up with rapper and lyricist QG (Qorygore) for a daring new release titled Cowok Red Flag.
Djaya shared that the momentum from their earlier release and joint tours with the Package Collective opened the door for more collaborations.
He explained that they had always admired Qorygore’s work and, on a whim, sent him a direct message through Aloy.

To their surprise, Qorygore responded quickly and agreed to collaborate.
Qorygore said the timing of this project aligned perfectly with his musical plans for 2025.
He had just released his own single earlier this year, and working with DNA felt like a natural next step.
He added that this collaboration would set the tone for a more productive year ahead.

Story behind “Cowok Red Flag”
Musically, Cowok Red Flag brings together the energy of EDM, the bold bounce of Miami Bass, and the infectious rhythm of dangdut.
According to Mister Aloy, the track marks one of DNA’s most daring creative moves.
He said they wanted to merge two genres that already shine on their own.
They want to see what magic happens when they collide.
Narratively, Cowok Red Flag keeps things simple and playful.
The song doesn’t try to deliver deep life lessons.
Instead, it dives straight into the idea of being a so-called “red flag” guy.
A label trending widely online for men who bring drama in relationships.
Qorygore joked that since all three of them fit the red flag profile, it felt only natural to embrace the theme in a fun way.
He raised a cheeky question: “Aren’t red flag guys more exciting than green flags?”
For Aloy, the single’s release date on July 19 holds special meaning.
He celebrated his birthday the day before, making the launch feel like a personal milestone.
He expressed hope that the release would spark even more creativity as he steps into a new year of life.
The song officially dropped on all streaming platforms on July 19, 2025.
But DNA and QG didn’t stop there.
They were throwing a Cowok Red Flag Release Party on July 23 at H Club SCBD Jakarta.
The event featured a special opening performance by DJ BRAVY and it was a night full of energy, fun, and unexpected beats.
Whether you’re into hard-hitting basslines or playful lyrics, Cowok Red Flag delivers a sound that’s fresh, fearless, and ready to make you move.
