Tinlicker have officially confirmed their next studio album.

The record is titled Dreams of the Machine.

It is set to arrive on February 27 through Remember The Future and [PIAS].

With this announcement, the electronic act continues to build momentum ahead of the release.

Notably, the upcoming record marks Tinlicker’s fourth full-length album.

At the same time, it becomes their second project released in collaboration with PIAS, signaling a continued partnership with the label.

Alongside the album news, the group shared a new single titled “Release,” which serves as the fourth preview from Dreams of the Machine.

The track explores modern habits and the quiet ways technology can pull people away from the present moment.

Inspiration Behind “Release”

The band explained that the song reflects how easily attention drifts without people noticing.

They pointed to constant checking, fixing, and responding on smartphones as behaviors that slowly reduce real connection between people.

While they do not oppose technology, Tinlicker emphasized an awareness of what fades when distraction becomes automatic.

In that sense, “Release” encourages listeners to pause and remain present with those around them.

Upcoming Tour Dates from Tinlicker

In addition to new music, the group also announced an upcoming EU and UK tour.

One of the tour’s key highlights stands out early.

Tinlicker will take the stage at the National Stadium in Dublin on March 16.

The show will give fans a chance to experience the group’s new material live.

Tinlicker first emerged in 2012 as a solo project led by Dutch musician Micha Heyboer.

Two years later, the project evolved into a duo when Jordi van Achthoven joined.

After several collaborations and live performances, the group reached another turning point.

They decided to expand the project once again.

This time, they welcomed London-based singer and producer Hero Baldwin as the newest member, completing the trio’s current lineup.
