Beacon Sound has unveiled a new benefit compilation titled Gaza Is The Moral Compass.
The project brings together 16 tracks from a diverse group of artists.
Together, the release aims to support humanitarian efforts in Palestine.
Based in Portland, Oregon, the label curates a wide range of contributors for the project.
The compilation gathers a wide range of voices from different scenes and backgrounds.
It includes contributions from foodman, Efrim Menuck of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Joni Void, and Raz Mesinai.
Palestinian diaspora musicians such as SAWT and Kareem Samara are also part of the project, alongside several other artists.
Together, they lend their work to raise funds for Seeds of Hope and Reviving Gaza.
The release is now available on digital platforms as well as in a limited-edition cassette format.
In addition, activist Tara Alami and Radio AlHara co-founder Yousef Anastas contribute written reflections in the liner notes.
Beacon Sound confirms that all proceeds from the compilation will go directly to the two selected organizations.

A Fundraising Effort from Beacon Sound
According to the project description, the label highlights the long-standing role of artists in movements for justice.
For years, creative voices have helped build collective strength and push shared action forward.
They have also carried truth beyond borders, linking communities that might otherwise remain apart.
In moments of deep crisis, the label sees art as more than simple expression.
Creative work becomes a tool for survival and resistance.
It helps sustain organizing efforts and ensures that urgent struggles remain seen and heard.
The compilation grows out of that long tradition of artistic resistance.
It is further shaped by the reflections of Alami and Anastas.
Their words frame the music within the lived realities of occupation, violence, and ongoing resistance.
Gaza Is The Moral Compass also marks the first release in a planned series of fundraising compilations from Beacon Sound.
Each future installment will focus on supporting a different Palestinian organization through digital and cassette formats.
Seeds of Hope runs as a community-led education program rooted in local support. It focuses on students who have been displaced in Gaza.
Even while living in temporary camps, the program helps them continue learning and stay connected to their education.
Meanwhile, Reviving Gaza works on the ground as a grassroots initiative led by Palestinians themselves.
The group focuses on mutual aid and direct support.
Its efforts respond to the immediate needs of families across the city.
The compilation stands alongside several other releases from 2025 that also aim to raise funds for Palestinian causes.
Together, these projects form a wider movement of support.
They highlight a growing wave of solidarity spreading through the global music community.
