The song, titled Protes, was written by vocalist Dian.
As the wife of Tresno from Tipe-X, she finally allowed herself to express the worries of her past through strong lyrics and melodies.
In many ways, this track reflects her own outpouring of emotion, brought to life together with her new band, ChanChan.
The creative process became even more special with the involvement of Tresno, the legendary vocalist of Tipe-X.

With Protes, the band hopes to bring a fresh color to Indonesia’s music scene.
They also wish to inspire young people to express themselves and their emotions in positive ways.
Protes is now available on all digital music platforms starting November 15, 2025, along with its music video on the band’s YouTube channel.
