Let’s take it back to 1999, the year DAFKAF came to life.

Founded by Remy Irwan and 1man, the collective aimed to push electronic music to new creative heights.

From the very beginning, they focused on crafting high-quality sounds filled with experimental textures and unique energy.

They built its identity around House, Nu Disco, Tech House, and Techno.

As time went on, the crew grew stronger, welcoming talented artists like Alvin K, Putra, DNSW, and the visionary visual artist Motioninja.

Through the years, the collective became a powerful force in Jakarta’s club scene.

Their signature New-Skool House and Techno sound consistently turned dance floors into vibrant spaces of movement and connection.

To keep their sound evolving, they later added more names to the family.

Fast forward to 2025.

DAFKAF celebrated its 26th anniversary with a special event titled “Rhythm Reconstructed.”

Held on October 17 at AM Lounge, the night brought together performances by DJ Remy Irwan, 1man, Putra, Cyda, Oky, and VJ Motioninja.

The celebration also became extra special as Rave Colony joined in, marking its own 11th anniversary.

Even after more than two decades, the collective continues to embody the true spirit of electronic music.

They bridge generations, connecting longtime fans with a new wave of partygoers, proving that passion and rhythm never fade.

Happy 26th Anniversary, DAFKAF!

Here’s to the next chapter of dancefloor evolution!
