Jakarta’s nightlife scene has entered a new phase as ESCAPE start its Grand Opening Week.
The multi-night event drew crowds into a darker and more immersive side of electronic music, setting a clear tone from day one.
From the outset, Escape showed that it is not just another club.
The venue carries a strong and unmistakable identity.
Low lighting sets the mood from the moment you step in, while sharp visuals cut through the darkness with intent.
The space itself feels immersive, sitting somewhere between a raw warehouse rave and a hazy late-night dream.
As the nights unfolded, this concept became even more defined.
The opening night on 26 March set the pace.
ETV curated the lineup, bringing together Rulli B2B Shawn, Nandi B2B Darkbark, and Tantra B2B Indra7.
Each set connected smoothly, creating a natural flow throughout the night.
Rulli and Shawn kicked things off with high-energy grooves at 11 PM.
Then, Nandi and Darkbark shifted the mood into a deeper house session at 1 AM.
By 3 AM, Tantra and Indra7 guided the room into more hypnotic territory.

ESCAPE Ready To Welcome Collectives and Communitie
The “Enter The Void” concept translated strongly into the real experience.
It felt less like a tagline and more like a state of mind, where time blurred, phones stayed away, and the music took full control.
In a city where nightlife can feel repetitive, Escape introduced something fresh, slightly raw, and clearly intentional.
As the week progressed, Escape began to build more than just a crowd. It started forming a community.
The venue connected collectives like ETV with its resident DJs, while also creating a space that encourages people to return, not just visit once.
Although it is still early, Escape already shows a clear direction. It does not aim to be the loudest venue in Jakarta.
Rather, it focuses on creating a deeper emotional impact.
Based on its opening week, the club has made a strong and promising start.
