Canadian multi-platinum rock band Finger Eleven are stepping back into the spotlight.

They’ve unveiled a new single titled “The Mountain.”

At the same time, they’re releasing “Last Night On Earth,” their first full studio album in a decade.

The record arrives through Better Noise Music, marking the group’s first collaboration with the label.

The band explained that their songwriting pulled heavily from Phil Collins and Genesis.

They said those influences inspired many of the album’s melodic touches.

Guitarist Rick Jackett explained that working on this release felt like a return to the “big rock sound” that defined their early years.

“The Mountain,” the fourth single on the album, unfolds like a four-minute epic.

It carries lyrics that follow the band’s creative journey and their ongoing search for fresh ideas.

Vocalist Scott Anderson noted that the song uses a fantasy setting as a metaphor for their music.

Songs Released by Finger Eleven

Before releasing “The Mountain,” Finger Eleven had already shared three singles:

“Last Night On Earth” — an acoustic track that reflects relationship conflict.

“Blue Sky Mystery” — a collaboration with Filter’s Richard Patrick that reached the Top 10 on Canadian radio.

“Adrenaline” — a high-energy rock single that climbed into the Top 20 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart and held a long-running position in the Top 5 on karaoke charts.

Finger Eleven’s story began in Burlington, Ontario.

Over the years, the band shaped their identity through a string of successful albums.

Along the way, they delivered hits like “One Thing” and “Paralyzer,” songs that helped define their sound and cement their place in rock music.

Their career also includes a Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year, solidifying their status as one of Canada’s most influential rock bands.

They are not stopping at the album release.

The band also kicked off a national tour across Canada, starting on November 25.

And as the momentum builds, they are already preparing to take the show to the United States in 2026.
