For Revenge step into a new chapter of their musical journey as they release their fifth album, Perayaan Patah Hati – Babak 2.
The band sees this project as a continuation of the emotional story they began in the previous chapter.
It marks another milestone in their ongoing exploration of loss, healing, and everything in between.
The project continues the emotional narrative they first introduced in Babak 1 back in 2022.
It revisits the themes of loss that shaped the earlier chapter. Then, it moves the story toward a sense of recovery.
In the end, the album brings their long-running journey to a full circle.
The band worked on this album over an extended period starting in 2023, and they first teased it with the single “Sadrah” in 2024.

Behind New Album from for Revenge
The new release features 14 tracks.
According to vocalist Boniex Nur, this chapter focuses on acceptance.
He explained that while the previous album explored loss, the new one invites listeners into a phase where light begins to break through the heaviness.
He added that this theme strengthens their long-standing message of “celebrating heartbreak,” which has shaped their recent releases.
The band also brought several collaborators into the project.
Three singles arrived earlier.
The first was their collaboration with Wira Nagara on “Kala Luka Berpesta.”
Then they teamed up with Elsa Japasal for “Menunggu Giliran.”
Finally, they released “Untuk Kau yang Di Sana (UKYDS)” with Stand Here Alone.
The album also introduces two new collaborations featuring Vicky Mono of DeadSquad and the band Lomba Sihir.
Personal connections and strong artistic chemistry guided their choices.
Boniex shared that Vicky Mono had long been a respected senior in Bandung’s music scene.
The band had known him since his early years with Burgerkill.
Over time, that familiarity grew into a natural creative connection, which made his involvement in the project feel even more fitting.
Vicky also appeared in their previous music video for “Jeda.”
Boniex explained that they had known him personally since his early days with Burgerkill.
He added that Vicky’s intense character made him the perfect match for the anger that drives the track “Bernama Karma.”
Meanwhile, they invited Lomba Sihir after realizing the track “Selamat Merayakan” needed a brighter, more festive feel.
Their earlier work together at Konser Sang Derana strengthened this idea, leading to a collaboration that aligned with their vision.

After The Album was Released
Three years after releasing Perayaan Patah Hati – Babak 1, Boniex expressed relief and satisfaction with the new album.
He noted that the project was originally scheduled for 2023.
However, it went through several delays along the way.
He said the longer timeline ultimately helped the band.
It gave them room to keep the emotional thread intact while adding new layers that reflect their musical growth.
He emphasized that listeners can still enjoy Babak 2 without hearing the previous chapter.
He explained that the album stands on its own and remains accessible to new listeners.
Yet he also noted that those who explore both albums will experience a deeper and more complete story, especially about the emotional stages of loss.
The album also marks an important milestone for for Revenge, as it becomes their first full-length project under Sony Music Indonesia.
Boniex said the experience taught them many new things.
He explained that the process also introduced them to incredible collaborators.
And through it all, the journey strengthened their evolution as musicians since forming the band in 2006.
He also shared a message for fans, encouraging them to wait, listen, feel, and celebrate heartbreak together with the band.
Perayaan Patah Hati – Babak 2 is available on all digital music platforms starting December 11, 2025.
