About The Song “Villain”
“Villain” stands out the moment its perspective begins to unfold.
It does not follow the familiar story of someone trapped as a victim in a toxic relationship. Instead, it turns inward.
The focus shifts to a person who slowly realizes that they are not just caught in the chaos. They are part of it.
Vocalist Matt Brandyberry describes the track as a story shaped by a powerful connection.
It feels almost magnetic, pulling two people closer even when they know better.
Deep down, they understand they should walk away. Yet somehow, they choose to stay.
He suggests that the song reflects a moment when desire overpowers consequence.
In that space, chaos begins to feel tempting, danger feels familiar, and the line between thrill and destruction slowly fades.

The Plan for From Ashes To New
“Reflections” follows the band’s 2023 album “Blackout,” which reached the top position on several global rock and metal charts.
This new project marks a turning point in their creative process.
The band chose to scrap a large portion of earlier material to create something more honest, fresh, and relevant to their current state.
To support the release, From Ashes To New will head out on a U.S. tour with Black Veil Brides.
The tour is set to begin on April 25, 2026, in Riverside, bringing their new era directly to fans across the country.
