Indotrance has evolved from a simple shared passion into a key pillar of Indonesia’s Electronic Dance Music scene.
It began as a gathering of fans who loved the same sound.
Over time, that small circle grew into a community with real influence and lasting impact.
The community began taking shape in early 2004 and officially registered as an internet forum on July 31, 2004.
From there, it quickly evolved into one of Indonesia’s largest EDM communities.
Over the years, the community kept expanding its reach.
They brought their passion to cities across Indonesia, hosting major events like In Trance We Dance and I Trance U.
Along the way, they also built strong relationships with both local and international DJs.
As a result, the community helped place Indonesia firmly on the global Trance map.
As time passed, they continued to evolve.
Now, more than two decades later, the community has reached an impressive milestone.

Celebrating 21st Anniversary of Indotrance
To celebrate its 21st anniversary, they hosted a special edition of In Trance We Dance on December 6, 2025, at AM Lounge.
They elevated the celebration this time.
They expanded the experience by opening two different rooms and stretching the event into longer hours.
The organizer also brought in a solid lineup of local DJs who have supported the community for years.
The Main Room opened at 6 PM and kept running until 6 AM.
It brought together a long list of performers, including:

Meanwhile, the Second Room opened its doors at 6 PM and kept the music going until 3 AM.
It brought together a diverse lineup featuring:

- Kitty & Marth
- Secondary
- IARA
- MKDAFI.
To make the night even more memorable, the team surprised selected attendees with exclusive Indotrance caps.
All performers also wore the special In Trance We Dance anniversary shirt, creating a unified look throughout the event.
