Mark Natama as “Sarjana Romansa”
In Bachelor of Romance, Mark reflects on the past few years as if they were a love curriculum.
As you can see from the title, it literally means “Sarjana Romansa”.
He compares his experiences to a college journey, filled with failures, repeated attempts, and moments of confusion.
Ultimately, hope for graduating as the best version of himself.
He explained that although he experienced many setbacks, each became a lesson.
For him, love extends far beyond romantic partners
It includes friends, family, and those who are always present to help.
Through this EP, he aimed to express his vulnerability and hoped the project could offer a fresh perspective.
Showing that men also have space to be emotionally open.

Inside the EP Album
The EP features six tracks, each exploring different sides of love.
The lead single, “lupa,” marks a new chapter in Mark’s musical journey.
This emotional R&B track portrays the feeling of being trapped in memories.
Where he realizes that no matter how hard he tries, it will never be enough for someone who does not love him back.
Yet, even with that truth, he finds it difficult to let go of the past.
Another standout track, “would u be mine?”, sees Mark collaborating with Rendy Pandugo, who also served as co-writer and producer.
Wrapped in warm pop-R&B tones, the song feels like a gentle invitation to start something new.
Full of hope yet carrying the vulnerability of a human heart.
Sung in English with intimate vocals, it becomes an emotional turning point in the EP.
Together, these two tracks sit on opposite ends of the emotional spectrum: one about the struggle to move on, the other about the courage to open up again.
This duality forms the EP’s central theme.
Across all six songs, Bachelor of Romance documents Mark’s growth as both a songwriter and a singer.
From questioning the meaning of love to facing heartbreak and finally embracing the courage to try again.
The EP captures moments familiar to anyone who has ever fallen in love, failed, and found the strength to start over.
