On 9 March 2018, we headed to The Fifth Kemang to join our friend Natura for their anniversary event, “A Year Lost In Natura.”
The night pulsed with Psy Trance beats, featuring sets from Adrian, Bram Alive, BLDR, Degupjagad, Karelino, Tahmme, Resty, and Ardi Pite.
As always, the venue came alive with psychedelic-themed visuals.
True to their style, the night offered more than just music.
Guests enjoyed Poi Dance, Face Painting, Tarot Reading, Circus performances, and Live Painting.
Despite being on the scene for only a year, the brand had already built a strong and loyal following.

The Beginning of Natura
Zean explained that they were formed from a group of people passionate about Psy Trance music and psychedelic culture.
Their mission was straightforward: introduce Psy Trance to the public.
The genre’s subcultures (spanning dance, art, and more) offer endless possibilities for exploration.
They began when a nature photographer invited them to collaborate on a brand activation.
They proposed a Psy Trance event, gathered friends with similar interests, and brought Natura to life.
The original vision involved outdoor events, but for now, they host indoor gatherings while searching for the perfect open-air venue.
Their focus extends beyond music.
Embracing the broader psychedelic culture, the brand has organized yoga sessions and hydroponic planting activities, aiming to promote healing and self-improvement.
Every event features unique psychedelic decorations and displays.
One member runs an art workshop, and in the early days, they crafted all decorations themselves.
Reusable pieces helped them grow their collection, funded by profits from each event.
Today, they charge a fixed door contribution (FDC) to cover production costs.

The Next Plan
Musically, they curates diverse lineups from Jakarta’s Trance community and often hosts B2B performances.
Resident DJs like BLDR and Luqy keep the energy high and the crowd moving.
They hopes to become a gathering place for Psy Trance enthusiasts in Jakarta, with the dream of hosting intimate outdoor gatherings to celebrate the genre and culture.
Congratulations for the first anniversary!!
Here’s to many more vibrant nights ahead!
