One of the most promising names in the alternative metal scene, ONI, has finally released the next chapter of their musical opus, Genesis Pt. II.
This new EP bursts with energy, serving as the perfect finale to the Genesis journey.
Vocalist and creative mastermind Jake Oni teamed up with his co-writer and Spiritbox bassist Joshua Gilbert to produce the project.
Through Genesis Pt. II, the band confidently defines their new direction with massive anthems like Float and the latest single What I’ve Become.
Jake expressed his pride in this release.
He said that after he launched the first part and fans gave an overwhelming response, he realized he still had more to say.
The songs in Genesis Pt. II continue his personal story, and he hopes listeners will discover meaningful messages within them.

To celebrate the EP’s release, ONI also unveiled a new music video for What I’ve Become, which Jake described as one of their biggest songs yet.
The track explores themes of self-acceptance and the struggle to face one’s own reflection.
The video was filmed during their tour stop in Charlotte.
Jake shared that the experience was wild—they landed in Charlotte, shot the video immediately, and hit the stage just three hours later.
Alongside Genesis Pt. II, ONI announced the full compilation album Genesis, combining both Pt. I and Pt. II into an exclusive CD edition.
The release also includes a limited-edition merchandise collection.
Fans can now stream ONI’s explosive new EP, Genesis Pt. II, on all digital music platforms in Indonesia.
