After months of preparation, Sensation Jakarta finally launched its first show in Indonesia.

The debut took place on February 10, 2018, at ICE BSD, where ravers arrived dressed in white to celebrate the long-awaited experience.

The gates opened at 6 p.m., and only a few guests had arrived at that early hour.

As we entered through Hall 10, cool air welcomed us along with sponsor activations and F&B booths.

When we stepped into the main arena, we saw a massive stage lined with jellyfish-style lighting and a square DJ booth placed at the very center.

The stage stretched across three halls, and VIP and VVIP decks stood on both sides of the space.

Around 9 p.m., Sensation officially began with its resident performer, Mr. White.

The rotating DJ booth turned 360 degrees, allowing everyone to see him play.

Mr. White waved to the crowd several times, and MC GEE joined the moment by greeting everyone in the room.

Lucas & Steve followed next, and the Dutch duo kept the energy high with their signature tracks.

After their set, Ummet Ozcan took over and lifted the mood with a mix of remixes, mashups, and his own releases.

The excitement continued as Quintino stepped on stage.

Each track he played earned loud cheers, building momentum for the night’s headliners, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

This time, the Belgian duo performed in full formation, which thrilled fans who had been waiting for the complete lineup.

DVLM as Main Headline at Sensation Jakarta

DVLM showed exactly why they are known for their explosive performances.

Dimitri Vegas kept jumping onto the booth to hype the crowd of Sensation Jakarta.

He urged everyone to clap, shout, and stay loud.

Meanwhile, Like Mike kept talking to the audience, pushing the energy even higher.

The audience stayed until the final moment of the show.

The overall production quality stood out, and every performer gave strong effort to keep the crowd engaged.

However, we kept hearing “Something Just Like This” throughout the night.

Different DJs played different remixes, and by the third time, it became hard to miss.

It’s a small detail, but one worth noting for the next edition.

For its first appearance in Jakarta, Sensation stayed loyal to its core identity.

The all-white dress code applied not only to ravers but also to the entire Sensation crew.

Still, the rule may have felt unfamiliar to Indonesian festivalgoers who are used to wearing anything they like to events.

The strict dress code might have made some people hesitant to attend.

Yet, if Sensation continues to promote the concept consistently, we believe more attendees will embrace the theme in future editions.

We hope to see Sensation return with another edition soon.
