SHAUN continues his musical journey with the release of “Diary,” the third pre-release single from his upcoming EP.
Following earlier tracks “Pixels” and “Night Walk,” this new release carries forward the project’s narrative direction.
With over 19 billion global streams and around 2.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, SHAUN has built a strong international presence.
Now, with “Diary,” he shifts toward a more introspective tone.
The track reflects on time and emotion, capturing both past and present like entries in a personal journal.

Story Behind The Song
Musically, “Diary” takes a stripped-back approach.
It leans on a band-driven sound led by electric guitar, allowing space for melody and sonic flow to take center stage.
At the same time, the lyrics remain calm and reflective.
Phrases that reference old paper and imperfect handwriting symbolize the passage of time.
Instead of dwelling on nostalgia, the song presents the past from a more peaceful and accepting perspective.
As with his previous work, SHAUN remains fully involved in the creative process.
He leads the writing, composition, and production, ensuring that his distinct musical identity stays intact.
Meanwhile, the upcoming music video expands the song’s emotional depth.
It introduces a fictional group called “The Time Machine Club,” blending childhood memories with the present day.
Through this narrative, the video reflects on time that cannot be reversed and the bonds that remain despite its passage.
Cinematic textures and analog-style visuals further enhance the song’s reflective mood.
