Sundanis, a rapper known for blending hip-hop with Sundanese lyrics and a touch of dangdut, is releasing his first single under FloorInc titled “EGP (Emang Gue Pikirin).”
Drawing inspiration from everyday life, “EGP” tells a story that many people can relate to: those who act kind in front of us but criticize behind our backs.
Sundanis, whose real name is Rudi Supriadi, explained that many people experience such situations.
He emphasized that the best way to deal with them is simply to stay indifferent—hence, EGP (Emang Gue Pikirin).
Interestingly, “EGP” comes in two versions: a solo track and a duet with Bandung-based singer Dev Kamaco.
The creative process moved quickly, taking just one day to produce the beat, write the lyrics, and record the track.
Sundanis admitted that working at such a fast pace felt natural for him, so he faced no major obstacles while creating the single.
However, the music video required more time.
He revealed that he filmed the solo version during his tour in Japan, making use of every free moment between shows and radio visits.
He expressed his hope that both the song and the video would resonate with listeners and viewers alike.
Sundanis has long been known for blending hip-hop and dangdut.
He is often weaving in Sundanese lyrics that give his music a distinct local flavor.
However, with “EGP” he chose to take a slightly different route.
The song carries a more accessible arrangement, crafted to reach a wider Indonesian audience.
Even so, he never lets go of his identity.
The track still carries the familiar dangdut touch that reminds listeners of who he is and where his music comes from.
This approach is not new to him; since 2015, he has consistently explored similar musical blends.

When Sundanis Meets Floorinc
His journey with FloorInc began when he sent a demo of “EGP” to a friend in Jakarta.
Soon after, he received news that the label wanted to release the track without any revisions.
This opportunity fueled his optimism that FloorInc could help expand his reach and introduce his unique sound to a wider audience.
Looking ahead, the rapper, who also loves traveling, has already prepared several new projects.
His past collaborations include working with Rotra from Jogja Hip-Hop Foundation in 2012 and teaming up with Japanese rappers Stillichimiya and Yungyu in 2023 and 2024.
Sundanis also shared his bigger vision for the future.
He hoped that with the right collaborations and label support, Bandung would once again earn recognition in Indonesia’s music industry.
The rapper expressed his dream of reviving the legacy of Bandung musicians, who once dominated the local music scene.
He wished that his efforts could bring that era back to life.
Fans can stream Sundanis’s latest single “EGP (Emang Gue Pikirin)” on all major digital platforms.
