The 5x Platinum alternative rock band THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS has officially released their sixth studio album, X’s For Eyes.

This new record arrives under the banner of Better Noise Music, marking another milestone in their career.

Alongside the album, they also launched a new single and music video titled “Perfection.”

Ronnie Winter—the band’s vocalist, guitarist, and founder—explained that the song expresses the idea that real beauty exists in imperfection.

He explained that the track encourages listeners to embrace their flaws instead of hiding them.

He also suggested that scars and insecurities can become something worth celebrating, not something to be concealed.

Meanwhile, X’s For Eyes becomes the band’s first full-length record under their new partnership with Better Noise Music.

The album highlights the band’s full current lineup.

Ronnie Winter leads on vocals, with Randy Winter and Josh Burke handling guitar duties.

Joey Westwood drives the low end on bass, while John Epsy holds down the rhythm on drums.

Nadeem Salam adds depth on keyboard, and their newest member, K Enagonio, steps in as an additional vocalist to round out the sound.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Social Issues in Their Songs

Ronnie Winter also reflected on the album’s theme by noting that the band has spoken openly about social issues since 2006.

He explained that the symbol “X’s for Eyes” first took him back to his childhood.

Back then, in cartoons and video games, characters who messed up often showed up with X-shaped eyes.

To him, it served as a simple but clear reminder of consequences.

Over time, he felt the symbol gained new meaning in today’s world.

He added that the band has carried messages of social justice since releasing “Face Down,” which stood against domestic violence.

According to him, their work continues to push for fairness while rejecting discrimination, racism, and homophobia.

The band hopes fans understand that they remain committed to standing for what is right.

Before releasing “Perfection,” the album had already introduced three singles: “Home Improvement,” “Slipping Through (No Kings),” and “X’s For Eyes.”

The full album includes eleven tracks that blend powerful pop-rock, heavy guitar riffs, electronic accents, and Ronnie’s iconic high vocals.

It also features special collaborations, including Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens on “Always the King” and Craig Mabbitt of Escape the Fate on “Worth It.”
