Actress and young musician Tissa Biani has officially released her debut EP titled Apakah Kita?.
She began releasing singles back in 2019, slowly carving her path in music.
Now, she takes a bigger step forward by presenting a more complete body of work.
This debut EP reflects her journey, not only as a singer but also as a songwriter who tells her own stories.
The EP contains four tracks:
- Apakah Kita Hanya Bercanda?
- Pernah Sangat Bahagia
- Tak Lagi Ragu,
- and a remake of the iconic song Gelora Asmara.
Tissa uses these songs to explore the many phases of love.
She captures the excitement of new connections, then shifts to the uncertainty and doubt that often follow.
In the end, she highlights the growth of two individuals who become stronger together.
She explained that she wanted to write songs her listeners could connect with.
Her goal was to make them feel close to the stories, almost as if they were experiencing the moments themselves.
She also hoped listeners would recognize their own experiences within the lyrics.

Tissa Biani and Gelora Asmara as the Highlight
The lead single Gelora Asmara stands out as a special highlight of this project.
Originally popularized by Derby Romero, the song returns with a refreshing touch from Tissa’s generation.
Derby not only gave his full support but also directed the music video while appearing as the model as well.
Tissa shared how Derby encouraged her throughout the process, from recording sessions to the music video shoot.
In the creative process, Tissa actively took part in writing several songs and collaborated with Evan as producer.
She emphasized the role of the guitar in shaping the sound of the EP, noting it as a defining element of her work this time.
Tissa also expressed her hopes about how people would see her.
She wanted them to recognize her not only as an actress, but also as a musician with her own musical identity.
For her, these songs serve as a personal form of storytelling.
She hoped the music could accompany listeners through different moods, whether they are in love, heartbroken, or simply in need of comfort.
