UPRISING has returned with two new releases: a three-track EP by STVDIO titled Memo and a heartfelt single by CVX called Apathy.

STVDIO, a duo consisting of DJ/producers Heston Prasetyo and Abra Sumendap, may be new to Indonesia’s music scene.

But their EP proves they have spent years refining their craft.

The project showcases striking vocal performances by collaborators Bimo Ganzar, Yaya, and Saifa, while blending forward-thinking production with melodies laced with nostalgia.

The result is an EP that feels both innovative and familiar at once.

The journey begins with If Only, where reverberated idiophones set a dreamy atmosphere for Bimo Ganzar’s rich baritone.

His low vocals shift into airy falsettos as the track builds with filtered supersaws, creating waves of emotion.

The second track, Lost & Found, features Yaya’s commanding voice.

Her delivery feels perfectly placed, starting as a pop ballad before evolving into a soaring future bass anthem.

The final track, led by Saifa, closes the EP with a guitar-driven house groove that ties the entire project together.

Meanwhile, CVX makes his return with Apathy, a single that explores the power of universal love.

He expressed that love remains the greatest gift of all, one that everyone deserves regardless of what they possess, who they are, or what they bring on their journey.

His lyrics reflect a longing to remind listeners that love should always be shared.

The inspiration for Apathy comes from observing how social media often divides people during times of conflict.

Instead of highlighting what we have in common, it tends to magnify our differences.

CVX suggested that in today’s world, perhaps a touch of apathy is what we need—less focus on division and more space for love and understanding.
