More than two decades after its original release, Darude has revisited one of his signature tracks with the “Feel The Beat” remix package.
Released through his Vibing Out label, the project marks the song’s first official remix collection in over 20 years.
The release brings together longtime supporters of the track alongside a new generation of producers.
Each artist offers a fresh interpretation while preserving the identity that made “Feel The Beat” a dance music favorite when it debuted in 2000.
Darude Brings Together New and Familiar Voices
The remix package came together naturally after growing demand from both fans and fellow artists.
During his STORM 25 Anniversary Tour last year, Darude noticed the strong response to Ilan Bluestone’s remix.
He also saw audiences react enthusiastically to Giuseppe Ottaviani’s long-played version and Junkkataxi’s reinterpretation.
Those moments convinced him to officially release the remixes as one complete project.
The collection explores several styles of contemporary electronic music.
It features contributions from Ilan Bluestone, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Emily Nash, Nilsix (Ørjan Nilsen and Mark Sixma), EM11 (HE.SHE.THEY), and Junkkataxi.
Each producer adds a unique perspective. At the same time, every remix preserves the driving energy that defines the original track.

Classic Track Receives a Modern Update
Ilan Bluestone described “Feel The Beat” as one of the records that inspired him to begin producing trance music.
Because the original held such personal significance, he focused on keeping its core identity intact.
He enhanced the groove and added more drive while respecting the qualities that made the track a timeless classic.
Giuseppe Ottaviani also shared his connection with the song.
He revealed that “Feel The Beat” was the Darude record he played most frequently, even joking that he played the vinyl until his turntable broke.
Alongside the new remixes, Austrian singer, songwriter, and producer PAENDA (Gabriela Horn) recorded fresh vocals for the release.
Her performance recreates the spirit of the original recording. It also gives each remix a more contemporary feel.
New Release Supports Vibing Out’s Vision
The remix package continues the growth of Vibing Out, Darude’s independent label and creative platform.
Through the imprint, he aims to support innovative music, embrace emerging technologies, challenge industry trends, and provide transparent support for artists.
The DJ has already introduced several of the new remixes during his ongoing HYPE Tour.
He has performed them at major events, including EDC Las Vegas and Steelyard London.
Additional stops in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and other cities are scheduled throughout the summer.
Those performances have already given fans an early look at how “Feel The Beat” continues to connect with today’s dancefloors.
