Barry Can’t Swim Expands His Sound With Atlantic Records
“Dance Dance Dance!” marks the second release from his collaboration with Atlantic Records.
The single arrives after an eventful run through the United States for Joshua Mainnie, the artist behind the Barry Can’t Swim name.
During the trip, Mainnie walked the KidSuper SS27 runway in Miami and was named Scotland’s “World Cup Champion” for the Scotland vs. Brazil match.
He also delivered a back-to-back set with Brazilian DJ Mochakk at Miami’s legendary Club Space.
He then took his energy to Brooklyn for a surprise pop-up party in the streets.
A Growing Presence in Electronic Music
Barry Can’t Swim has established himself as an important figure in electronic music.
His headline shows have sold out across the world, while his performances at major international festivals have further expanded his profile.
Last year, he took on the role of headliner and curator for All Points East in London.
The event became a standout edition of the festival and was widely regarded as one of its most memorable days.

Beyond his work as an artist, Barry Can’t Swim has also become an influential curator within electronic music through his label Earth’s Only Paradise.
The label has helped introduce emerging artists such as O’Flynn, SHEE and Sam Alfred.
He has also taken on a curatorial role for Warehouse Project in Manchester, further highlighting his influence beyond his own productions.

His work with the Scotland men’s national football team and Adidas Originals has further expanded his presence in popular culture.
