for Revenge presents its latest single, Museum Duka, a collaboration with YB (Reza Arap) and Tepe.
The song emerged from a creative connection that developed after the three artists performed Serana and Penyangkalan together at a festival.
YB later initiated the collaboration through Boniex, the vocalist of for Revenge.
For the band, the project became both an honor and a creative challenge.
Bringing the musical identities of for Revenge, YB and Tepe together required each artist to contribute their own character to the song.
for Revenge Builds a Collaboration Through Friendship
Tepe’s involvement also has a personal story behind it. He had previously performed with for Revenge several times as a drummer.
Those encounters gradually strengthened the personal relationship between them.
According to Boniex, Tepe played an important role in bringing for Revenge and YB together. Without him, the collaboration may not have happened.
During production, Boniex and YB worked together on the lyrics, while Tepe handled the drums.
Faisal Riant also contributed to the arrangement after previously working on for Revenge’s I Miss You Every Brand New Day.

for Revenge Explores Loss Through ‘Museum Duka’
The writing process for Museum Duka developed through an exchange of ideas between Boniex and YB.
Boniex translated YB’s initial concept and worked with him to develop lyrics about loss and the way people process grief.
Boniex describes the song through the idea that everyone has their own personal museum of grief.
It represents a space where people keep stories, faces and versions of someone they once knew deeply.
For YB, Museum Duka represents the personal place everyone creates to preserve people or memories that are no longer present.
That place can exist in the heart, a physical room or even through objects that someone continues to keep.
When feelings of longing return, people can revisit those memories.
The song therefore extends beyond the personal experiences of YB or for Revenge. It also seeks to represent anyone who has experienced loss.
YB Brings a New Color to the Collaboration
Museum Duka marks YB’s first experience singing in Indonesian. It also represents his first collaboration with a band.
His vocal character introduces a different color to for Revenge’s sound.
Meanwhile, Tepe’s drumming helps connect the musical identities of all three collaborators.
Through Museum Duka, for Revenge, YB and Tepe do not encourage listeners to forget what they have lost.
