After releasing “Bayangkan Ku Hilang” in July 2025, Teddy Adhitya returns with a new project titled “Jaga Nafas.”
This time, he collaborates with White Chorus, the electro-pop duo from Bandung.
Teddy created “Jaga Nafas” because he felt uneasy about the growing number of disturbing reports on environmental destruction in Indonesia.
He felt it was ironic that a country known as one of the world’s lungs now suffers from severe damage caused by poor environmental management.
He conveyed this criticism through the opening lines, saying the lyrics describe falling trees and a landscape driven by harmful profit.
The song acts as an invitation for reflection.
It encourages listeners to think about the meaningful actions they can take individually before the damage becomes irreversible.
During the early stages of production, Teddy handled everything on his own.
However, he soon realized that the track needed a female voice to deepen its emotional impact.

He chose White Chorus—Emir and Friska—because he believed their vocal tone and musical identity fit the song perfectly.
As the process continued, their involvement grew, and they eventually co-produced the track with Teddy.
The creative and recording process for “Jaga Nafas” took place almost entirely online.
Teddy, Emir, and Friska exchanged ideas and digital files, ensuring the collaboration remained intense and focused despite the physical distance.
They shared the view that “Jaga Nafas” is not a song meant to lecture anyone.
Instead, they see it as a collective reminder.
The track aims to raise awareness about nature’s crucial influence on human life and to inspire listeners to protect, care for, and fight for the environment.
“Jaga Nafas” was released under TED Records, the independent label founded by Teddy Adhitya.
The release also marks a collaboration between TED Records and KithLabo, the Believe Artist Services division in Indonesia.
