Pemuda Sinarmas, also known as Muhammad Fajrin Tio or Ajis, is one of Indonesia’s proud pioneers of the Cassette Jockey (CJ) scene.
He graduated from a film institute and developed a deep passion for vintage culture.
As a result, he embraced everything retro, from cassette tapes and tape decks to classic cars.
Even as the music industry shifted fully into the digital age, he chose a different path.
In 2015, he stepped into the scene by spinning timeless hits from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s using cassette tapes.
When the pandemic began, Pemuda Sinarmas started an online show called Sebelum Djam Malam.
Before long, the program grew rapidly and drew a wide audience.
