Indonesian singer Fadhilah Intan returns with her new single, “Pura-Pura Bahagia.”

The song serves as the official soundtrack for the latest film from the production house behind “Dawai.”

That earlier song became a major milestone in her career.

It opened doors to performances across many cities in Indonesia.

It also took her to Malaysia, including promotional appearances in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

Therefore, when the opportunity came to contribute to a second film soundtrack, Fadhilah embraced it wholeheartedly.

She explained that she welcomed the chance, especially because the new song still connects emotionally with Dawai.

Moreover, “Pura-Pura Bahagia” continues the narrative introduced in Dawai.

Inspiration Behind The Song

The song takes its full inspiration from the film Air Mata Di Ujung Sajadah 2.

It unfolds through the perspective of Mama Yumna, a character portrayed by Citra Kirana.

In the story, Mama Yumna faces heavy personal struggles while trying to stay strong for the child she loves.

Fadhilah pours these emotions into her vocal delivery.

Through her interpretation, she creates a listening experience marked by quiet strength, restraint, and unspoken feelings.

Although she did not write the song herself, Fadhilah shared that performing “Pura-Pura Bahagia” felt natural and deeply personal.

At the time she received the song, she was going through a difficult phase in her own life.

As a result, the lyrics and the overall mood resonated deeply with her emotional state.

This connection allowed her to deliver the song with honesty and sincerity, closely aligning with the film’s message.

She also expressed hope that the song would connect with listeners and touch them in the same way Dawai once did.

Next Plan for Fadhilah Intan

Meanwhile, beyond this release, Fadhilah Intan is carefully considering several new soundtrack offers.

At the same time, she is preparing her first full-length album, which is scheduled for release in 2026.

She has already worked on several tracks with Hendro Djasmoro, who acts as both producer and a long-time supporter of her musical journey.

Closing this chapter, Fadhilah shared her hope that all plans would run smoothly.

Currently, “Pura-Pura Bahagia” by Fadhilah Intan is available on all major digital streaming platforms across Indonesia.
