Jakarta-based alternative rock trio Monkey To Millionaire have returned with a new single titled “Nol,” released on January 23, 2026.
The track marks their first new material since 2022’s EP The Golden Sound and continues the band’s long-running journey.
The group consists of Aghan Sudrajat on bass, Wisnu Adji on guitar and vocals, and Raveliza on drums.
This time, “Nol” reflects how the band views the world around them.
Wisnu Adji has shared that the line between what feels normal and what feels strange continues to blur.
As unusual events repeat themselves, many people begin to accept them as ordinary, while truly simple things start to feel odd.

Musical Approach by Monkey To Millionaire
Musically, the band takes a softer and sweeter approach compared to parts of The Golden Sound.
This direction grew from a shared sense of longing within the group.
They felt a pull to return to lighter songs.
The kind they used to enjoy listening to in earlier days.
From that simple longing, an idea began to take shape.
It eventually became a track designed to feel comforting and familiar.
Meanwhile, Monkey To Millionaire continue to stand firm after more than two decades together.
Since forming in 2004, the band have continued to evolve with each release.
Over the years, they have put out four full-length albums.
Those records include Lantai Merah (2009), Inertia (2013), Tanpa Koma (2017), and Bipolar (2019).
Along the way, they have also released several EPs that reflect different phases of their journey.
With that history behind them, they see no reason to stop creating new music.
Rather than chasing big ambitions, the band treat “Nol” as a way to release energy and stay emotionally connected to their work.
Wisnu has explained that their main hope is simple: that listeners can receive the song as a complete piece and enjoy it for what it is.
Currently available on all major digital platforms, “Nol” will also receive its first live performance at Monkey To Millionaire’s solo showcase.
The special show is set for Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Krapela, Row 9, South Jakarta.
