Killing Me Inside RE:UNION makes a strong comeback with their latest single, “Senyawa dan Candu.”

After their last performance in September, the band went quiet for a while.

At the same time, Onadio Leonardo entered a three-month rehabilitation period.

Now, they return with a new release. It feels fresh, but also deeply personal that shaped by everything that happened in between.

Creative Process Of The Song

Onadio created the song during his time in rehab.

explained that the track reflects his personal regret after making a serious mistake.

During that period, he found himself searching for direction and eventually returned to writing music.

As a result, the song became one of his most honest works, centered entirely on his own story.

Musically, the track takes a new direction.

Onadio Leonardo took full control of the songwriting and lyrics, shaping the story on his own.

However, he didn’t work in isolation.

He teamed up with Raka, Sansan, and Rudye.

They are former members who still support the project. Together, they handled the production.

The band quickly embraced the song, as they felt it truly represented Onadio’s identity.

At the same time, they saw the timing as right, especially as it followed his recovery period.

Fresh Start for Killing Me Inside

With “Senyawa dan Candu,” the group also introduces a new chapter.

For the first time in years, they release a song in Indonesian.

In addition, they shift toward a more pop-driven sound, paired with brighter and more cheerful visuals.

This change reflects their intention to redefine their musical identity, similar to how they evolved in past eras.

Looking ahead, the band has no plans to slow down.

They hint at more releases throughout the year, including a potential EP, something they have not done in a long time.

For now, they place full focus on rebuilding and growing Killing Me Inside RE:UNION as a project.

“Senyawa dan Candu” was officially released on February 13, 2026, and is now available on all major streaming platforms.
