Kenny Jacta is set to release his debut single after joining FloorInc, a sub-label of Sony Music Indonesia.
Titled “Kau Coba Rayu,” the Malang-born artist collaborates with ERN and Dochi.
Together, they deliver a hipdut-inspired track with Indonesian lyrics, marking a fresh direction in Kenny’s musical journey.

Kenny explains that this single feels different from his previous releases.
This time, he chooses to write in Indonesian instead of English, which dominated his earlier songs.
Moreover, he draws inspiration from his personal experiences.
He explores the idea of moving on with grace while resisting the urge to return to a past relationship, even when temptation appears again.
He also notes that the theme reflects common situations faced by many Gen Z listeners today.
Furthermore, working with ERN and Dochi adds excitement to the project.
Kenny shares that he had envisioned collaborating with ERN since 2022, even during the demo stage.
Eventually, that vision becomes reality through this single.
Meanwhile, he feels equally thrilled to work with Dochi, whom he has admired since his school days as a listener of Pee Wee Gaskins.
Both artists respond positively to the collaboration, partly because they are interested in exploring this rising genre.
On the other hand, ERN initially feels uncertain about stepping into hipdut, as it lies outside her usual style.
However, her curiosity pushes her to try something new.
In the end, she finds the process enjoyable and rewarding. She also gains confidence to explore different genres and to write more lyrics in Indonesian.

The Collaboration That Works Well
In terms of production, the process moves relatively fast.
Kenny completes the demo within a month.
After Silverzone finishes the instrumental, Kenny develops the chorus and verses.
Then, he invites ERN to contribute to the chorus and bridge.
Later, during the recording sessions in Jakarta, Dochi adds his verse to complete the track.
Still, blending different musical influences and vocal styles becomes a challenge.
Even so, Kenny believes that ERN and Dochi bring unique colors that enrich the song.
Meanwhile, ERN finds her biggest challenge in writing Indonesian lyrics.
Since she usually writes in English, she needs to adjust her vocabulary.
Through this experience, she learns that effective lyrics do not have to be overly formal, as long as they connect with listeners.
Through “Kau Coba Rayu,” Kenny hopes the song can reach a wide audience and support those who are trying to move forward.
He encourages listeners not to fall into the same situation twice and to be more confident in making decisions.
Similarly, ERN shares a message for those who feel unsure about ending a relationship.
She suggests that if the feelings are no longer there, it is better to let go than to stay and get hurt.
