Assia Keva, a singer-songwriter from Bali, first released her EP Forevermore in October last year.

A few months later, in February 2026, she returned with a fresh take on the project.

This time, she reintroduced three tracks (Baby July, Can We Be Friends Again?, and Looking for Love in Wrong Places) in a live piano format.

She grouped these songs into a new EP titled forevermore, but it’s just me and piano.

In this version, she performs alongside Kevin Suwandhi.

They recorded the sessions live at DeBeat Music Studio, using a simple approach that places the focus on voice and piano.

Through a press release, Assia Keva shared that she chose this minimal format to bring listeners closer to the songs’ emotions.

She explained that she grew up singing in acoustic settings, so creating piano versions felt deeply personal.

In her view, the project reflects a return to her roots and to the style of singing she loves most.

She also expressed her hope that listeners could feel that same sense of love.

By stripping the arrangement down to only vocals and piano, she believes the audience can hear the melodies and lyrics more clearly.

This approach, in turn, allows the songs to feel lighter and easier to connect with on an emotional level.

The forevermore, but it’s just me and piano video format is available on Assia Keva’s YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, the digital release can already be streamed across major music platforms.
